#rasmalai #pudding #sweets Ras Malai Trifle Pudding Servings - 3 - 4 INGREDIENTS Warm milk - 35 milliliters Saffron - 1/2 teaspoon Milk - 1.5 litres Vinegar - 30 milliliters Water - 1 litre Water - 1.3 litres Sugar - 120 grams Milk - 1.5 litres Sugar - 50 grams All purpose flour - 300 grams Baking powder - 1 teaspoon Baking soda - 1/4 teaspoon Salt - 1/4 teaspoon Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon Unsalted butter - 100 grams Powdered sugar - 200 grams Yogurt - 100 grams Vanilla essence - 1 teaspoon Milk - 250 milliliters Chilled whipped cream - 250 grams Powdered sugar - 1 1/2 tablespoons Pistachios powder - 2 tablespoons Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon Pistachios - for garnishing PREPARATION 1. In a bowl, add 35 milliliters warm milk, 1/2 teaspoon saffron and mix it well. 2. Soak for 30 minutes. 3. Take a heavy skillet, add 1.5 litres milk and stir well. 4. Bring it to a boil. 5. Add 30 milliliters vinegar and stir well. 6. When you can see the entire milk begins to curdle. Turn off the heat. 7. Place a cloth on top of bowl. 8. Pour the milk on it and wash it with water properly. 9. Squeeze the cloth tightly. 10. Hang for 30 minutes. 11. Transfer this into a board and knead it into a dough. 12. Take some mixture in your hands and shape it into a ball. 13. Place it on a plate and keep aside. 14. Take a skillet, add 1.3 litres water, 120 grams sugar and stir continuously until the sugar is fully dissolved. 15. Add the prepared balls in it and cover it with lid. 16. Boil for about 15 minutes. 17. Open the lid and remove it from heat. 18. Cool the balls for 60 minutes. 19. Heat 1.5 litres milk in it a heavy skillet, add 50 grams sugar and stir well. 20. Bring it to a boil. 21. Boil for about 10 - 15 minutes on medium heat. 22. Then, add the soaked saffron milk in it and mix it well. 23. Cook for about 8 - 10 minutes on medium heat. 24. Remove it from heat and allow it to cool for about 30 minutes. 25. Pour the rabri over the prepared balls and refrigerate for 2 hours. 26. Take a bowl and place a sieve on it. 27. Add 300 grams all purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder and sieve it properly. 28. In a mixing bowl, add 100 grams unsalted butter, 200 grams powdered sugar and mix it well. 29. Add 100 grams yogurt, 1 teaspoon vanilla essence and mix it again. 30. Now, add the flour mixture and mix it well. 31. Add 250 milliliters milk and mix it well to make a thick batter. 32. Transfer this into a baking dish. 33. Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C. Bake for 35 - 40 minutes. 34. Remove it from oven and allow it to cool. 35. Crumbled the cake properly and keep aside. 36. In a mixing bowl, add 250 grams chilled whipped cream and whisk it well. 37. Add 1 1/2 tablespoons powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons pistachios powder, 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder and mix it well. 38. Take a serving glass, fill halfway with crumbled cake. 39. Add two prepared ras malai and then add some rabri in it. 40. Garnish with pistachios. 41. Top with prepared frosting. 42. Garnish with pistachios. 43. Refrigerate for 2 hours. 44. Serve.
